More security cameras in the Kapiti Coast

We need more security cameras in the Kapiti Coast because of the Nice place it is.  The Kapiti coast is a nice and tidy environmental place, that is why I think waikanae should have more security cameras.  BUT… the council would have to pay to keep people safe, if they want to go for a walk at night.  Do you feel safe at night.??

In 2012 two young men were killed in a fight in Paraparaumu.  There was no lighting or security cameras and as a result the thugs got away and the police stated that many  

As the council has stated on the website for 2012 Many residents say they are afraid to go out during weekends,because two young men got killed and business operators want more lighting and security cameras due to vandalism and the fight that happens all the time.  

Police will be increasing their presence and the community will be investigate improving the lighting and installing cameras.  However, police are also calling for residents to take more responsibility for their actions.  Some people say police cannot be everywhere and the community needs to take responsibility for their drinking and behaviour.

So in conclusion the Kapiti coast is a very wonderful place to live in that is why we need more security cameras and so you can feel more safe if you want to go for a walk at night.
